Thinking of Getting Tattooed?

Things to consider

Things To Consider:

  • State of New Hampshire requires clients to be 18 years of age or older.

  • You can not get tattooed if pregnant. If you are breastfeeding, it's ok to get tattooed but be sure to consult with your Dr. beforehand.

  • Things to consider when it comes to your tattoo location and your skin's pigment/condition...

    • Depending on your skin's pigment, tattoos can heal differently.

    • consider placement and the condition of your skin.

    • Is it prone to acne, freckles, or other skin conditions like vitiligo?

    • Be sure to consult with your artist about this before booking your appointment.

    • While it is possible to get tattooed with a scar or stretch marks, you will want to consult with the artist before.

    • You cannot get tattooed with sunburnt skin or open wounds in the tattoo area

  • Tattoos are a permanent change to your appearance, consider all consequences to your professional and personal life as well as the risks involved in the tattoo process.

  • Be prepared to follow after care instructions post-tattoo which includes no swimming, or soaking tattoo and limited sun exposure for at least 2 weeks.

  • It’s not advised to get a tattoo before vacation.

  • After getting tatted you may experience redness, soreness & swelling for around 48hours after that it should subside.
